Herman's Hermits’s members met in 1990. The band used to practice at the guitarist's garage. Herman's Hermits started singing at Cafeteria, a college club. The lead singer wanted to start a group since he was in college.
submitted their single to Z99.9 and a DJ took a liking to it. Herman's Hermits were happy to get the record deal, but were not sure how far they would go. The release of their first release convinced them that they were right where they should be after their songs began to get lots of radio play.
Herman's Hermits accepted that they could really have a career in music when Cynthia Parquette started a fan club for the group in 1984. While the club started out small after the organizer heard the band play at a small club in Philadelphia, the club grew leaps and bounds after the band’s first national tour.
Members of Herman's Hermits see this tour as a chance to expose another group of fans to their music. The group recently finished their newest album, but they are plotting their next move already.
Herman's Hermits appreciates that they are able to do what they love because of the fans, so they play the hits off their most current album as well as the classics.
