Hinder started singing at Mecca, a local bar. The drummer use to listen to musics constantly as a kid. The lead singer was influenced by his mother's love of music. Hinder’s members were friends in high school. The group kept requesting that the local radio station to play their track.
Hinder will spend some time apart after the tour, allowing the band members to work on side projects. The band is in the second leg of the tour accompanying for their most current album. Hinder's most current release has taken the group in a new direction, with a more refined sound.
