Ian Moore began playing at the college dive bar Attorney. The band was influenced by music of the '60s. Ian Moore began playing together while they were in middle school. The lead singer used to listen to his aunt's music constantly as a kid.

The band embraced the small fan club and with the launching of the group’s own website by Jess Noonan and a well marketed national tour the club quickly grew to a few thousand.
