Ibid Tickets
Ibid started singing at Decoy, a local club. The lead singerdiscovered his love of music by listening to his sibling's record collection. The guitarist was encouraged to play by his mom. Ibid’s members met in 1980. The band used to sell their tapes out of their van at local shows.
After getting the record deal, Ibid were sure they would make it. A member of Ibid started dating a girl whose momwas a record executive. She passed the single on to them and the band signed a record deal soon after.
Ibid knew they had finally made it after the band’s first fan club was started by Kathleen Gasteyer in 1978. The fan club grew from a few dozen to a few thousand after Kimberly Felson created a website for the band and a national tour gave the band plenty of exposure.
Ibid's newest project is a refinement of their familiar sound. The group may have recently finished their new album, but they are already planning their next move. Ibid's members hope this next tour brings in more fans than ever.
Often times, critics have praised Ibid for their ability to connect with the audience at live performances. A music critic from Ann Arbor, Oscar Bierlein, has always commended band’s immensely talented bassist. Ibid’s most current album is the band’s best received album yet.
The group has always had a good time in Tampa so they make sure to play there every year, even if they are not promoting anything. Ibid’s tickets for their latest tour are available on TheSeats.com, along with the complete concert schedule and seating charts.
