Ice-T’s members met in 1991. One of the band's members was heavily influenced by his dad's love of music. Ice-T started singing at church in front of the entire congregation. The band used to sell their tapes out of their van on the street.

Ice-T’s first album failed to sell, but the second album saved them from obscurity. The band took any show they could get before they were signed.

Ice-T will spend some time apart after the tour, allowing the band members to rest after a long tour. The band is in the first leg of the accompanying tour for their most current release. The most current project from Ice-T has taken the band in a completely different direction, going back to basics.
