Idiot Pilot Tickets
Idiot Pilot started performing at the college club Colleague. The group used to sell their tapes out of their car at the local record store. Idiot Pilot’s members were friends in high school. The lead singer was encouraged to play by his father.
After the single hit the airwaves and became incredibly popular, Idiot Pilot knew they’d made it big and were not willing to be just another one hit wonder. The band continues to play large venues, but still enjoys playing in smaller clubs on occasion. Idiot Pilot met with a local DJ from Z92.1 and convinced him to play their single on air. The single immediately became a local hit and larger radio stations started playing the song. Eventually a record executive heard it and signed the group. The group members quit their other jobs to focus on their album.
Idiot Pilot accepted that they could really have a career in music in 1985, as soon as the group's first fan club was started by Jess Abbey. The fan club may have just started out with a few members that followed the band when the played in small clubs, but it quickly grew to thousands after the group released its first album and started touring nationally.
After this past non-stop year the members of Idiot Pilot will spend some time apart. The group recently completed their new release, and they are thinking of what is next to come. The new album from Idiot Pilot has been heavily influenced by artists of the '70s.
Generally critics will commend Idiot Pilot for their ability to energize the audience at live shows. A music critic from Detroit, Ryan Orsino, has always pointed out group’s great bassist. Idiot Pilot’s latest project is the band’s best project yet, according to the Aaron Rohrs, a music critic from Ann Arbor.
The group has an obsession with Cafeteria in Denver and are sure to play a performance every year. Idiot Pilot’s tickets are available at TheSeats.com, along with the latest tour information and concert schedules.
