IfIHadAHifi began playing together while they were in grade school. The band used to sell their records out of their van on campus. IfIHadAHifi started singing at the college club Anyplace. The drummerdiscovered his love of music by listening to his mother's collection of records.
The years of paying their dues paid off when IfIHadAHifi signed a record deal. IfIHadAHifi’s first album did not do so well, but the second album was a hit, going gold.
IfIHadAHifi knew that they could really have a career in music as soon as Pam Noonan started a fan club for the band in 1985. While the club started out small after the organizer heard the group play at a small club in Raleigh, the club grew leaps and bounds after the group’s first national tour.
After this last busy year the members of IfIHadAHifi will take some time off to work on individual projects.
