The members of Ignite grew up together. The bassist discovered his love of music while listening to his sibling's music collection. The guitarist was influenced by his father's love of music. Ignite started performing at the local club Beach. The group used to sell their records out of their truck in the school parking lot.

Ignite was discovered after their single was heard on Q91.5. The group members were relieved once they were signed and quit their odd jobs that had supported them while they worked toward their dreams. The group is mobbed by fans at every show.

Ignite realized that the possibility of living life as actual musicians was a distinct possibility in 1975, after the group's first fan club was started by Jen Brooks. After the group’s first North American tour, the fan club grew from the couple dozen fans who heard the group play around Orlando to the thousands who heard them play across the nation.

Ignite's new album is the group's first album in three years. The band is in the first leg of the tour promoting for their newest record. Members of Ignite are expecting to bring in another audience with this tour and the latest record.
