Jackaroo started singing at Cafeteria, a local dive bar. The lead singer was encouraged to play by his favorite teacher. The drummer use to listen to cassette tape constantly as a teenager. Jackaroo’s members met in middle school. The group asked the local radio station to play their songs.

Jackaroo's new project has been heavily influenced by old blues artists. The group may have just completed their latest release, but they are plotting their next move already. Members of Jackaroo hope this tour and the new record attracts another group of fans.
