Jackmove Tickets
The members of Jackmove were friends in middle school. The band used to sell their records out of their car at local shows. Jackmove started performing at the local club Governor. The lead singer used to listen to radio constantly as a teenager.
Jackmove met with a local DJ from Q100.9 and convinced him to play their single on air. The single immediately became a local hit and larger radio stations started playing the song. Eventually a record executive heard it and signed the band. The band's members had horrible jobs when they started playing, just biding time until they would hit the big time. Jackmove signed the record deal, but were not expecting the next step to be any easier. The band plays plenty of arenas, but would rather perform in the smaller bars in which they began.
Jackmove realized that their dream of making an actual life for themselves as musicians had come true as soon as Dorothy Moran started a fan club for the band in 1986. Starting out in Urbana with a few dozen members, the club grew fast, eclipsing a couple thousand across the world in under a year.
Jackmove's latest release is the band's third record. The band is in the midst of the tour promoting for their new release. Jackmove will take some time off after the tour, to allow the group members to recharge.
The band has a love affair with Pittsburgh so they are sure to stop by and play a show whenever they are touring. The band’s latest tour information, from Jackmove tickets to concert schedule changes to seating charts, are all available on TheSeats.com.
