Jeff Dunham is an American stand-up comedian and ventriloquist. He was born in 1960 in Dallas, Texas and graduated in Baylor University. He has been married to Paige since 1990 and has three daughters, Bree, Ashlyn and Kenna. They owns four dogs: Bill the golden retriever, Jake and Darby the Chihuahuas, and their offspring, Rusty. The Dunhams and their dogs live in the Los Angeles-area. After graduation Jeff has performed on numerous comedy shows, including Comedy Central Presents in 2003.

His puppets are: Peanut (woozle with a small tuft of green hair on his head, and only one shoe), Walter (retired and grumpy old man with arms always crossed in discontent), Jose Jalapeno (jalapeno pepper with a Mexican personality, a sombrero, and a mustache, on a stick), Achmed the dead terrorist (wisecracking skeleton with a beard and a white turban), and Melvin the Superhero Guy (he has two real powers, flight and X-ray vision). Jeff Dunham’s first DVD, “Jeff Dunham: Arguing With Myself”, was released in April 2006 in witch are incuded two other characters Sweet Daddy D and Bubba J, in place of Achmed and Melvin and the second DVD, "Jeff Dunham: Spark of Insanity" was released on September 18, 2007 which features Peanut, Jose, Walter, Melvin the Super Hero, and Achmed the Dead Terrorist.
