The members of Just Jack were friends in middle school. The guitarist use to listen to music constantly as a child. Just Jack began performing at the college club Mishap. The band used to practice at the drummer's basement.

Just Jack were convinced their hard work had paid off after their first single rose to the top of the charts. The band plays plenty of arenas, but would rather play in the smaller bars in which they began. Just Jack was discovered after their single was heard on Z97.1. The group members were happy to have the opportunity to make an album and quit their day jobs that supported them while they worked hard at night to make their dreams happen.

Just Jack knew they had finally made it when Melissa Jenson started a fan club for the group in 1978. The fan club quickly grew from a few dozen in Albany to a few thousand country wide.

Just Jack's most current release is the band's fifth record. The group just finished their new release, but they are thinking of what is next to come. Just Jack hope to collaborate with other artists while on this tour.
