The members of Ka-pas De la Sierra were friends in middle school. The drummer used to listen to his sibling's tape constantly as a kid. The bassist was influenced by his father's love of music. Ka-pas De la Sierra began playing at Museum, a local club. The Benagls heavily influenced the early work of the band.

Ka-pas De la Sierra's members hope this tour and the newest release attracts another group of fans. The group may have just finished their most current project, but they are plotting their next move already.
