Karma 10 began playing at the local dive bar Miscellany. The lead singer used to fall asleep with a tapeplaying as a teenager. The guitarist use to listen to music constantly as a kid. The members of Karma 10 met in 1987. The group used to practice at the drummer's house.

Karma 10 was discovered while playing at at Hobo, a local dive bar. The group members were glad to have the opportunity to make an album and quit their day jobs that supported them while they worked hard at night to make their dreams happen. The band continues to play large venues, but still enjoys playing in smaller clubs on occasion.

Karma 10 accepted that they were truly working musicians after the band’s first fan club was started by Mandy Okerblom in 1981. The club started out small, with just a handful of members around Ann Arbor. After the band’s first national tour the club grew dramatically, reaching a membership in the thousands.

After this past non-stop year the members of Karma 10 will spend some time apart to recharge after a long tour. The group is in the start of the tour accompanying for their newest record. Karma 10's most current album has been heavily influenced by artists of the 1950s.

Generally critics will commend Karma 10 for their ability to energize the crowd during concerts. Concord music critic Miles Fleetwood has always commended group’s tremendous guitarist. Karma 10’s newest release is the group’s best reviewed project yet.
