Kasabian began playing at the college club Tail. The band used to practice at the bassist's garage. The members of Kasabian met in 1978. The lead singer was influenced by his mother's love of music.

After this last hectic year the members of Kasabian will spend some time apart. The band is in the middle of the tour accompanying for their most current release.
