LA Strada’s members grew up together. The bassist used to listen to his brother's tape constantly as a child. The drummerdiscovered his love of music by listening to his grandfather's collection of records. LA Strada began playing at City, a local bar. The band used to sell their records out of their van at school.
LA Strada signed the record deal, but were not expecting the next step to be any easier. LA Strada was discovered while joking around, performing on the street one day.
LA Strada knew that they could really have a career in music when the group’s first fan club was started by Kimberly Quinn in 1999. The fan club grew quickly from a few dozen members in a few cities to a few thousand nation wide.
The newest record from LA Strada has taken the group in a brand new direction, with a bigger sound. The band is in the middle of the accompanying tour for their most current project. LA Strada will take some time off after this next tour, allowing the group members to recharge after a long year.
Generally, critics have praised LA Strada for their ability to energize the audience at live shows. A music critic from Champaign, Andy Tomaselli, has always been a fan of band’s amazing bassist. LA Strada’s most current record is the group’s best received release yet.
LA Strada will mix songs from the new record with hits from its previous release.
