The members of Ladies of Grand Ole Opry met in 1997. The guitarist was encouraged to play by his middle school teacher. The guitarist used to annoy his grandfather by playing his favorite cassette tape constantly. Ladies of Grand Ole Opry began playing at Thrill, a local bar. The group used to practice at the drummer's basement.
