Ladyhawke’s members grew up together. The guitarist use to listen to music constantly as a child. Ladyhawke started singing at the local dive bar Matrix. The group was influenced by Aerosmith.

The years of paying their dues paid off when Ladyhawke signed a record deal. The band members were ecstatic to have the opportunity to make an album and quit their day jobs that supported them while they worked hard at night to make their dreams happen. Ladyhawke signed the record deal, but were not expecting the next step to be any easier. The band is on tour constantly, performing before sold out venues nightly.

The band has just finished their newest record, but they are already thinking of their next move. Ladyhawke's new record is the band's first album in five years.
