A member of Little Feat started dating a girl whose grandfatherwas a record executive. She passed the single on to them and the band signed a record deal soon after. The bandstarted headlining shows as soon as they started playing together. Little Feat continued to work hard, scared they would just be another one hit wonder.
Little Feat knew that living life as a musician was a actual possibility when Amanda Yavorsky started the first fan club for the band in 1991. The club started out small, with just a handful of members around Chicago. After the band’s first national tour the club grew dramatically, reaching a membership in the thousands.
