Mack 10 started singing at the local club Cafeteria. The band used to practice at the guitarist's garage. The members of Mack 10 met in 1994. The guitarist wanted to start a group since he was in college.

The band is in the middle of the promotional tour for their new project. Mack 10's newest record is the band's first since the band members went to work on independent projects six years ago.

Often times, critics will commend Mack 10 for their playfulness with the crowd at live performances. Oliver Kloiber, a music critic from Philadelphia, has always praised group’s superb drummer. Mack 10’s newest album has received terrific praise from notable music critics like Raymond Anderson and Owen Rohrs.

Mack 10 were convinced their hard work had paid off after their first single rose to the top of the charts. The band members quit their other jobs to focus on their record.

Mack 10 accepted the fact that their dream of making a life as musicians had come true after Jen Pillar started the first fan club for the band in 1981. The group embraced the small fan club and with the launching of the group’s own website by Deborah Gibson and a well marketed national tour the club quickly grew to a few thousand.
