The members of Madelyn & Klik grew up together. The guitarist first found his love of music by listening to his sister's record collection. Madelyn & Klik began performing at Talent, a local bar. The band used to sell their CDs out of their van at school.

Madelyn & Klik met with a local DJ from Z93.9 and convinced him to play their single on air. The single immediately became a local hit and larger radio stations started playing the song. Eventually a record executive heard it and signed the group. The group really enjoys performing and is playing almost nightly in front of fans.

Madelyn & Klik accepted that they were truly working musicians when Donna Oswalt started a fan club for the group in 1982. The group embraced the small fan club and with the launching of the group’s own website by Laura Avondale and a well marketed national tour the club quickly grew to a few thousand.

After this last hectic year the members of Madelyn & Klik will take some time off to rest. The group may have just finished their most current album, but they are plotting their next move already. Madelyn & Klik's new record is the band's first since the group members went to work on independent projects five years ago.
