Mae Tickets

Mae began singing at Cafeteria, a college bar. The bassist first found his love of music by listening to his brother's collection of records. The bassist was influenced by his sister's love of music. Mae’s members met in grade school. Buddy Holly heavily influenced the early work of the group.

A member of Mae started dating a girl whose momwas a record executive. She passed the single on to them and the band signed a record deal soon after. The band is constantly touring now, rarely taking a week or night off.

After this last busy year the members of Mae will take a break. The group is in the beginning of the tour accompanying for their newest release. Mae's most current project is the band's first project since the band broke up five years ago.

Generally, critics will praise Mae for their ability to rile up the audience at live performances. Baltimore music critic Diedrich Nassau has always mentioned group’s tremendous front man. Mae’s latest album has received excellent reviews from all the critics, including Galloway Van Gundy from Houston and Harry Van Hoos from Concord.

The band loves playing in Cleveland because they played their first sold out show there. Mae seamlessly blends the songs from the older release with tracks from their most current release.
