Magazine Tickets
Magazine began playing together in 1994. The drummer use to listen to records constantly as a child. The lead singer used to listen to his father's cassette tape constantly as a child. Magazine began playing at the local bar City. Music of the 1970s heavily influenced the early work of the group.
Magazine was discovered after their single was heard on a local music hour on K96.5. The band members were ecstatic to have the opportunity to make an album and quit their day jobs that supported them while they worked hard at night to make their dreams happen. Magazine’s first album failed to sell, but the second album saved them from obscurity. The group plays plenty of arenas, but would rather perform in the smaller venues in which they started.
Magazine accepted that they were truly working musicians in 1985, after the group's first fan club was started by Lizzie Moran. After starting out with a handful of members in St. Louis, the club took off exponentially, growing to over two thousand in just a few months.
The group may have recently finished their latest project, but they are thinking of what is next to come. Magazine hope this tour and the newest record attracts a whole new group of fans.
Magazine appreciates that they are able to do what they love because of the fans, so they play the hits off their new release as well as the classics. The band has never played a bad show in Oklahoma City, so they make sure to schedule a stop there whenever they tour. The group has all their tour information, from the tour schedule to the latest Magazine tickets released, on TheSeats.com.
