Michael Buble Tickets
Michael Bublé was introduced to the sounds of the swing era by his grandfather, who filled his grandson's ears with the music of Frank Sinatra, the Mills Brothers, and Ella Fitzgerald, to name just a few. As Bublé eagerly immersed himself in the recordings, he not only came to realize that he wanted to be a singer, but that it was this style of music, which was virtually unknown to his own generation, that he wanted to perform.
With help from his grandfather, Bublé soon learned a whole catalog of songs, while gaining experience and exposure as a guest singer for several local bands. While still in his teens, Michael won the Canadian Youth Talent Search, released several independent records, and performed in a musical revue titled +Swing which toured across the United States. Shortly thereafter, Bublé was introduced to Grammy Award-winning producer David Foster who signed the artist to his first major recording label, Reprise Records.
From there, the two Canadians started work on a debut album which would incorporate Bublé's natural talent with pop standards into tunes which covered several decades. When his self-titled debut album was released in early 2003, it featured jazzy interpretations of old standards such as Fever and The Way You Look Tonight, as well as some newer classics like Van Morrison's Moondance and How Can You Mend a Broken Heart from the Bee Gees.
Further exposure soon followed for Bublé, with a world tour and appearances on several television shows like NBC's Today Show, on which he sang a duet with Today host Katie Couric. Michael ended 2003 with an EP of holiday material, Let It Snow, and kicked off 2004 with a live CD/DVD set, Come Fly with Me. In 2005, It's Time was a number one hit in Canada, Japan, Italy, and Australia, while cracking the Top Ten in both the United Kingdom and United States. Later the same year, Bublé released the live album Caught in the Act, followed by the holiday-themed Christmas in 2006, and then the studio production Call Me Irresponsible in 2007. Bublé then returned early in 2009 with the live concert album/DVD Michael Bublé Meets Madison Square Garden, which documented Michael's first ever performance at the legendary New York City venue, while later in October he released another studio effort, Crazy Love, which features duets with Sharon Jones and Ron Sexsmith.
Given his unique take on many of the classics, Michael Bublé has quickly become very popular across multiple generations, thus making his concerts appealing to both young and old. Check his tour calendar, get your tickets, and maybe plan for the whole family to enjoy Michael Bublé in concert. It will be an event that will be appreciated by all, and not soon forgotten.
