Missy Higgins has taken Australia by storm with folk-infused pop ballads and now has moved on the United States to try and conquer another nation. Her first album, The Sound of White, dominated the Australian charts for seven straight weeks and went platinum nine times in the process. Her national tour with Ben Lee introduced her ro her nation face to face. The first album and her EPs landed her 11 nominations from ARIA and won her the “Best Pop Release”.

Now she is stationed in Los Angeles where she recorded her second album, On a Clear Night. The album has been certified platinum three times since its release in April 2007. Her world tour that followed took through the United States, over seas to the United Kingdom, and down to South Africa. The world has purchased tickets to her concerts and decided she is worthy of its admiration.

Her latest tour takes through the middle of the United States with Brett Dennen and Mason Jennings. She will start on July 10 in Madison, Wisconsin and end in Kansas City on August 5.
