The members of Nashville Pussy met in 1982. The guitarist first found his love of music by listening to his grandmother's record collection. Nashville Pussy started playing at the college dive bar Adult. The band was influenced by the Kinks.
Nashville Pussy signed the record deal, but were not expecting the next step to be any easier. Nashville Pussy was discovered while joking around, performing on the street one day.
Nashville Pussy knew that they could really have a career in music as soon as Jennifer Piper started a fan club for the group in 1997. The fan club received a huge boost after Debbie Cotroneo designed a website for the band. That coupled with the tour all across the country saw the fan club’s official membership reach numbers in the thousands.
Nashville Pussy's members are expecting to bring in another audience with this tour and the most current project. The band may have just finished their most current record, but they are already planning the next release. Nashville Pussy's most current album is a refinement of their accepted sound.
