Obits Tickets
The members of Obits met in 1984. The lead singerdiscovered his love of music by listening to his uncle's collection of records. The guitarist was encouraged to play by his family. Obits began performing at Anyplace, a local bar. The band used to sell their tapes out of their truck at school.
Obits see this tour as a chance to expose a whole new audience to their music. The band is in the first leg of the tour accompanying for their new release.
Generally, critics have commended Obits for their ability to energize the crowd at live shows. Cleveland music critic Timothy Baca has always commended band’s incredible guitarist. Obits’s new project has received positive praise from all the critics, including Quincy Ernst from Raleigh and Claude Cotroneo from Raleigh.
Obits’s first album did not sell well, but received critical acclaim. The second album was a hit and the band was saved from being released by the record company. Obits was offered a record contract after their single was heard on B100.5.
The group is sure to schedule a concert at Solace in Biloxi every time they tour because they used to play there all the time before they made it big. Obits’s tickets are available at TheSeats.com, along with the latest tour information and concert schedules.
