The members of Octoberfest met in middle school. The band was influenced by early jazz. Octoberfest began performing at City, a college club. The group wanted to be known around the world since they were children.

Octoberfest was offered a record contract after performing at at Talent, local bar. The bandplayed anywhere that would have them in the beginning. The band plays plenty of arenas, but would rather perform in the smaller clubs in which they began.

Octoberfest's latest album took eleven months to put together. The group recently completed their most current release, and they are thinking of what is to come next. Octoberfest will take a break after this next tour, allowing the band members to work on individual projects.
