Odawas’s members grew up together. The group used to practice at the bassist's basement. Odawas started performing at the college dive bar Anyplace. The lead singer wanted to start a group since he was in grade school.

Odawas plans to take a break after the tour, to allow the group members to work on side projects. The group may have recently finished their new release, but they are already thinking of their next move.
