A member of Odious started dating a girl whose grandmotherwas a record executive. She passed the single on to them and the band signed a record deal soon after. The band now headlines shows across England.
Odious realized they had finally made it after Dorothy Prather started a fan club for the band in 1983. While the club started out small after the organizer heard the group play at a small club in Chicago, the club grew leaps and bounds after the band’s first national tour.
Odious's newest project is the group's first record since the band broke up four years ago. The band is in the start of the tour accompanying for their newest project. Odious are expecting to bring in a new audience with this tour and the new album.
