Oh The Story began singing at the local bar Passenger. The group used to sell their records out of their truck at the local record store. The members of Oh The Story met in 1984. The drummerdiscovered his love of music by listening to his uncle's record collection.
The band may have recently completed their newest record, but they are already planning their next move. Oh The Story's new album is the group's tenth record.
Often times critics will praise Oh The Story for their playfulness with the audience at concerts. Denver music critic Don Easley has always been enamored with band’s crisp lyrics. Oh The Story’s most current record has received great praise from Tony Kloiber, a music critic out of Los Angeles, and Oliver Lamango, from St. Louis.
Oh The Story were uneasy after releasing the first recording, but were happy when they heard their music on the radio for the first time. The group plays almost every night of the week as the they tour the continent. got K95.9 to start playing their single and had their friends call in to request the song. A record executive heard it one day and immediately signed the group. The bandyears opening for bands at dive bars.
