Old Canes began playing together while they were in middle school. The band had their friends harass the local radio station to play their single. Old Canes began performing at Adult, a college club. The bassist used to fall asleep with a cassette tapeplaying as a teenager.

Old Canes always wanted to hear themselves at the top of the charts and they got their wish with the release of their first single. The bandplayed anywhere that would have them in the beginning.

Old Canes intends to take some time off after the tour, allowing the band members to work on other projects. The band is in the beginning of the tour promoting for their new record.
