Paddy McGuinness’s first time on stage was at the age of 25. He was dared into doing it by his best friend. He bombed his first time on stage, but sought out every open mic soon after. Paddy McGuinness wanted to be in comedy since he was a a child.

Paddy McGuinness’s plate was almost too full after the success of his first comedy CD. He had to balance promotional tours of the album and shooting for movies. After completing a national tour, he was being offered bit parts in movies and supporting roles on sitcoms. Paddy McGuinness worked for years, playing clubs up and down Midwest before a talent scout saw his act in San Diego and signed him to a deal.

He has expressed an interest in doing serious movies after the tour is over. Paddy McGuinness's latest album is a recording of a live show in Buffalo.
