Paper Thin Surprises’s members met in middle school. The bassist wanted to start a group since he was in middle school. The lead singer was heavily influenced by his grandmother's love for music. Paper Thin Surprises started singing at Babe, a local club. The group used to sell their CDs out of their van on campus.

The newest project from Paper Thin Surprises took half a year to produce. The group is in the beginning of the accompanying tour for their new release. Paper Thin Surprises will spend some time apart after this next tour, allowing the group members to recharge after a long year.

Paper Thin Surprises was discovered while joking around, performing on the street one day. The group members quit their other jobs to focus on their record. The band does not have a problem selling out any venue now, small or large.
