Paradime’s members grew up together. Jazz music heavily influenced the early work of the band. Paradime started playing in the school yard before the entire school. One of the group's members was encouraged to play by his mother.

Paradime first garnered some national attention with their first single. The group plays plenty of arenas, but would rather perform in the smaller venues which they began. Paradime was discovered after single was played on Z90.1. The group's members all had odd jobs while they waited for their time to come.
