Paradise Lost’s members met in 1989. The bassist wanted to start a group since he was in high school. Paradise Lost began performing at City, a college bar. The band used to sell their tapes out of their truck at the local music store.
After getting the record deal, Paradise Lost were sure they would make it. The band plays plenty of arenas, but would rather perform in the smaller clubs in which they began. Paradise Lost was offered a record contract after their single was heard on X94.1. All the members quit their day jobs to focus on their music.
The newest release from Paradise Lost has been heavily influenced by artists of the '50s. The band recently completed their new record, and they are already planning their next move. Paradise Lost plans to take some time off after this next tour, allowing the band members to work on side projects.
