Paramore’s unique mix of punk and emo has helped the group approach national prominence. The band has kept its original four members, despite several lineup changes that have seen members leave periodically and come back. Hayley Williams is the lead singer whose voice echoes throughout the crowd with sincere sentiment, Josh Farro pulls emotional strings with his lead guitar, Zac Farro keeps the songs barreling forward on the drums, and Jeremy Davis keeps the baseline on the bass guitar.

The group came out of Franklin, Tennessee, playing local festivals around Nashville and the South until 2005 when they were discovered by John Janick, the co-founder of Fueled by Ramen. With a new record deal, Paramore quickly began to record their first album, All We Know is Falling. The album and its singles brought the band to attention of many in the United States, but it brought them their first unquestioned success in Britain.

Their second album, Riot!, brought Paramore greater recognition and much greater record sales, as the album went gold domestically and abroad in the UK. They even earned a Best New Artist nomination from the Grammy’s. With tickets selling at al time highs for the group, they have begun their final tour for the 2007 release.

Final Riot!-Paramore Summer Tour 2008 will kick off with a European tour scheduled in June and a tour split between festival dates and headlining dates scheduled for the remainder of the summer in the United States.
