Pepper started performing at the college club Anyplace. The group used to practice at the guitarist's basement. The members of Pepper grew up together. The bassist discovered his love of music while listening to his grandfather's music collection.

A member of Pepper started dating a girl whose sisterwas a record executive. She passed the single on to them and the band signed a record deal soon after. The group members were happy that all the small festivals they had played had paid off. Pepper’s single climbed the charts quickly, giving them national exposure.

The group just completed their most current project, and they are thinking of what is next to come. Pepper's new record took six months to put together.
