Queensryche Tickets
Queensryche began playing at Xanadu, a college dive bar. Earth, Wind, and Fire heavily influenced the early work of the group. Queensryche’s members met in 1994. The lead singer use to listen to records constantly as a kid.
Queensryche signed the record deal, but were not expecting the next step to be any easier. Queensryche met with a local DJ from Z90.1 and convinced him to play their single on air. The single immediately became a local hit and larger radio stations started playing the song. Eventually a record executive heard it and signed the group.
Queensryche realized that they had a real chance to become a headlining national act as soon as the band’s first fan club was started in 1994 by Mandy Brooks. The fan club received a huge boost after Carol Geanopulos designed a website for the band. That coupled with the tour from New York to California saw the fan club’s official membership reach numbers in the thousands.
Queensryche's newest record took two months to create. The group is in the middle of the accompanying tour for their latest record. After this last busy year the members of Queensryche will take some time off to pursue other projects.
Generally, critics commend Queensryche for their ability to connect with the crowd at live shows. A music critic from Buffalo, William Casas, has always been pleased with band’s immensely talented drummer. Queensryche’s new album has received inspiring reviews from Howie Lambert, a music critic out of Las Vegas, and Gerald Felson, from Houston.
The band is sure to schedule a show at Rapture in Dallas every time they tour because they used to play there all the time before they made it big. Queensryche's concerts always have the audience singing by the end of the concert.
