Radio Moscow began playing together in 2000. The bassist use to listen to record constantly as a child. The lead singer was encouraged to play by his brother. Radio Moscow began singing at Boss, a college bar. The Mamas and the Papas heavily influenced the early work of the band.

A member of Radio Moscow started dating a girl whose dadwas a record executive. She passed the single on to them and the band signed a record deal soon after. Radio Moscow were sure that they would make it after signing the record deal. They had heard stories of others still failing, but were sure they would be one of those bands.

The new album from Radio Moscow took nine months to create. The band recently completed their latest project, but they are already planning the next release. Radio Moscow will take some time off after this next tour, allowing the group members to pursue individual projects.
