Radio Soulwax’s members were friends in high school. The bassist used to annoy his grandfather by playing his favorite record nonstop. Radio Soulwax started playing at the college club Eyewitness. The group used to practice at the guitarist's garage.
submitted their single to Z98.5 and a DJ took a liking to it. Radio Soulwax were sure they were not going to be a one hit wonder after their single became popular.
Radio Soulwax accepted that they could really have a career in music as soon as the band’s first fan club was started in 1991 by Melissa Moran. The club started out in Orlando with a handful of members, but grew tremendously once their singles started getting national air time.
Radio Soulwax's members hope to collaborate with other artists during this tour. The group just finished their newest album, but they are already planning the next release.
Often times, critics have praised Radio Soulwax for their playfulness with the crowd at live shows. Cincinnati music critic Ed Zadra has always commended group’s tremendous drummer. Radio Soulwax seamlessly blends the songs from the previous project with tracks from their latest record.
