Ratatat Tickets
Ratatat began singing at the college club Cafeteria. The lead singerdiscovered his love of music by listening to his grandmother's record collection. The drummer use to listen to cassette tape constantly as a kid. Ratatat’s members met in 1977. The group requested that the local radio station to play their song.
Ratatat was discovered after their single was heard on a local music hour on Z92.1. The group played for years atparties making almost no money. The group really enjoys performing and is playing almost nightly before fans.
Ratatat finally realized they made it when the band’s first fan club was started in 1992 by Patricia Natalello. The fan club started out small with just a handful of members, generally localized to the area around San Francisco, but the creation the band’s website by Martha Colangelo, along with the first real national marketing campaign, saw the membership to grow into the thousands.
The latest release from Ratatat took three months to create. The band has just finished their newest release, and they are already plotting the next move.
Generally critics will commend Ratatat for their playfulness with the crowd at live shows. Oliver Hart, a music critic from San Antonio, has always commented on band’s effort every show. Ratatat’s latest album is receiving inspiring reviews from Kent Baca, a music critic out of Dallas, and Randall Phillippe, from Seattle.
