Rockapella started playing at City, a college bar. The bassist was heavily influenced by his grandmother's love for music. The bassist used to fall asleep with a CDplaying as a teenager. Rockapella’s members grew up together. The band used to practice at the bassist's garage.
Rockapella met with a local DJ from B91.9 and convinced him to play their single on air. The single immediately became a local hit and larger radio stations started playing the song. Eventually a record executive heard it and signed the band. The groupspent years before being signed as an opening act.
The newest project from Rockapella has taken the group in a incredibly different direction, going back to basics. The group may have recently finished their new release, but they are thinking of what is next to come. Rockapella hope this next tour brings in more fans than ever.
