Runrig started playing at the college bar Beach. The guitarist used to annoy his mom by playing his favorite tape too loud. The guitarist wanted to start a band since he was in middle school. Runrig began playing together while they were in college. The band was influenced by the Animals.

Runrig's members hope this next tour brings in more fans than ever. The group may have just completed their most current release, but they are plotting their next move already. Runrig's most current record took three months to produce.
