Their first self-titled debut album was released in March 1974 under the influence of Led Zeppelin and The Who and later became the most selling debut. Over the years Rush has changed their style and has overflowed into hard rock and progressive rock and in recent time modern rock. The members of Rush have been acknowledged as the most proficient players on their instruments, bringing them awards. For the most consecutive gold and platinum albums by a rock band, Rush is the fifth band behind The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Kiss and Aerosmith. Currently the band is promoting their latest album, “Snakes & Arrows”.
