Sam Bush started performing at Fable, a local bar. The band was influenced by the Benagls. Sam Bush’s members grew up together. The guitarist discovered his love of music while listening to his grandfather's collection of records.

Sam Bush was discovered after their single was heard on a local music hour on Z101.5. The band members were ecstatic once they were signed and quit their odd jobs that had supported them while they worked toward their dreams. Sam Bush were uneasy after releasing the debut single, but were happy when they heard their music on the radio for the first time. The band really enjoys performing and is playing almost nightly in front of fans.

Sam Bush realized they made it when the group’s first fan club was started in 1983 by Susan Dickenson. The fan club started out small with just a handful of members, generally localized to the area around Denver, but the creation the band’s website by Angela Cotroneo, along with the first real national marketing campaign, saw the membership to grow into the thousands.

Sam Bush plans to take a break after the tour, to allow the group members to recharge after a long tour. The band is in the beginning of the promotional tour for their newest project. The new release from Sam Bush has taken the group in a completely different direction, with a heavier sound.
