The members of Sanchez grew up together. The guitarist used to listen to his grandmother's cassette tape constantly as a child. Sanchez began singing at the local bar Hobo. The Beatles heavily influenced the early work of the group.

The most current project is 's first album since the band broke up nine years ago. The band may have just finished their latest release, but they are already planning the next release. After this last non-stop year the members of Sanchez will spend some time apart.
