The members of Sandpeople met in 1996. The band wanted to make a career in music since they were small children. Sandpeople began performing at Coward, a local club. The band used to sell their CDs out of their car at the local music store.
Sandpeople signed the record deal, but were not expecting the next step to be any easier. The group a huge draw with fan clubs in every city.
