The successful journey of Say Anything began in 2001, when two of the original members, Coby Linder and Josh Eichenstein studied at Windward School. Even during this time, they were so much attracted towards music that they self-released two EP's titled Junior Varsity and Menorah\Majora along with a LP entitled Baseball. Currently, Say Anything is composed of members Max Bemis, Coby Linder, Alex Kent, Jake Turner, Jeff Turner and Parker Case. Former artists who were part of Say Anything include Evan Span, Michael Levin, Josh Eichenstein, Dan Delauro, Kevin Seaton, Casper Adams and Gabriel Rodriguez.
In 2001, Say Anything came up with something different, Baseball: An Album By Sayanything. This turned out to be a monstrous debut album for the band. The second full-length album by the band was "...Is a Real Boy" which was released on August 3, 2004 through Doghouse Records. After the release of this album, the band is currently signed to J Records, owned by Sony BMG Music Entertainment, one of the "big four" record labels.
The latest album released by the band is "In Defense of the Genre". This full-length studio album was released as a double disc album on October 23, 2007 through J Records.
