Sia’s members met in grade school. The drummer used to fall asleep with a recordplaying as a kid. Sia started performing at the local bar Ranch. The group used to practice at the drummer's garage.

Sia was discovered after single was played on Q97.5. The group played for years atcollege parties making almost no money. After the single hit the airwaves and became incredibly popular, Sia knew they’d made it big and were not willing to be just another one hit wonder.

Sia plans to take some time off after the tour, to allow the band members to rest after a long tour. The band is in the first leg of the tour accompanying for their latest album. Sia's latest release is the group's first album in three years.
